Be a member of an existing team. We are only recruitingexisting teams, and both team members must apply to thisposition Able to partner with another driver in a sleeper tractor onextended runs Be at least 21 years of age Have a valid Class A commercial driver’s license Have a working knowledge of vehicle safety and controlsystems Safe driving record and history Hold a valid DOT Medical Certification Card or pass acompany-paid DOT physical Available to work away from home in a five-day work week Possess hazardous materials, tank vehicle and doubles/triplesendorsements Preferred qualifications: Team driving or over-the-road experience Strong verbal and written communication skills for effectivecoordination with dispatchers and team members Able to work independently and collaboratively in a teamenvironment, demonstrating strong teamwork and cooperation Aboutthe Team Driver jobPay, benefits and more: Weekly pay Mileage pay will be paid at the designated rate of $0.91 permile, split between each driver ($0.455 per mile) for all tasksrelated to the completion of the load Hourly pay of $33.07 will be provided for en route waitingtimes of more than an hour due to traffic, construction orweather-related delays Reimbursement for on-the-road showers Typical schedule is 5 days on, 2 days off Full health insurance benefits available on day one Hourly pay for 6 holidays PTO offered 401k with company match No touch and in-house freight Shops and fueling stations across the network to reducedelays 2023 Freightliner and Kenworth automatic trucks Microwaves and refrigerators in sleeper cabs Tool and repair kit in tractors What you’ll do on a typicalday: Run loads between XPO facilities for pickup and drop off andwork with fellow XPO employees Navigate various routes, maintain CMV safety, and ensurecompliance with transportation regulations Operate various tractor-trailer combinations over longdistances in a typical 5-day work week away from home Operate the vehicle safely within DOT regulations Operate all internal freight transportation work tools andrequired systems Team Drivers are required to: Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights (frequentlyup to 50 lbs. and occasionally greater than 75 lbs.)
