Summary We are seeking a Rear Load Driver to join our dedicated team at Ward Waste Solutions in Knoxville, TN. In this role, you will be responsible for operating rear loader trucks to collect waste from residential and commercial clients, ensuring timely and efficient service. Responsibilities Operate rear loader trucks safely and efficiently during waste collection routes. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety standards are met. Load and unload waste materials from the truck, ensuring proper handling procedures are followed. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding service issues or delays. Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and report any maintenance needs promptly. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding waste disposal. Requirements No special license required but must have clean driving record. Experience driving rear loader trucks or similar vehicles preferred. Ability to operate vehicles effectively and safely. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual labor tasks. Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
