Responsibilities:
Operate powered industrial equipment within the safety and operational requirementsUnload heavy products from incoming vehicles and transport them to designated areasFind and move stock to pallets or crates for storage or shipmentPerform quality and accuracy checksPromptly and securely pick, wrap, and stage orders for shipmentInspect equipment to ensure functionality and schedule maintenance when neededUse RF scanning equipment or computers to process transactions, review picklists, transfer orders, track materials, and audit shipments for accuracyComplete physical inventory checks as necessaryComply with health and safety regulations and always wear protective gearMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Position Requirements:
Prior experience operating powered industrial equipment in a manufacturing or warehouse settingExcellent communication, time-management, and collaboration skillsMust be able to work in contrasting temperaturesAbility to multi-task and adapt to assignments in a fast-paced environmentExcellent coordination and safety-focusedMay need to stand for long periodsMay need to carefully bend, squat, push, pull, and liftSurge hires for a variety of top jobs in the area.
