Local Driver Apex Moving + Storage 120 Timberline Drive, Spring Hill, TN 37174 Overview We are looking for a dependable, values-driven Local Driver to join our team at Apex Moving + Storage in Spring Hill, TN. This role is essential to our daily operations and customer satisfaction, ensuring that moves are completed safely, efficiently, and with a service-first mindset. Basic Responsibilities:

Operate moving trucks for local routes , ensuring safety, timeliness, and care for client belongings—demonstrating our commitment to Excellence at every stop. Assist with loading and unloading household or commercial items, treating customer property with the same respect and care you’d want for your own ( Integrity and Community ). Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain basic upkeep of the vehicle—keeping safety and compliance at the forefront ( Excellence ). Engage professionally and respectfully with customers , answering questions, communicating timelines, and resolving minor issues on-site ( Inclusivity and Integrity ). Follow routing and scheduling instructions , updating dispatch as needed, and adapting to day-to-day changes with a problem-solving mindset ( Innovation ). Collaborate with movers, dispatch, and logistics team members to ensure smooth execution of jobs ( Community ). Report incidents, delays, or equipment issues immediately and accurately ( Integrity ).

Basic Requirements:

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL not required but preferred for larger vehicles). Ability to pass a DOT physical and maintain a drug-free status (required). Previous experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles is highly preferred. Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and perform physical work in varying conditions. Previous experience in the moving and storage/logistics industry highly preferred. Excellent time management and communication skills. Commitment to safety protocols and customer service. Work Environment:

Field-based role, driving and working at various local client locations. Physically active, with frequent lifting, loading, and unloading. Day shifts with occasional weekends or early starts based on job volume. Reports to the Operations Manager/Local Dispatch. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): On-Time Arrival Rate
