Truck Dumper Nights Position Available In Obion, Tennessee

Job Summary The Truck Dumper is responsible for keeping raw material trailers dumped in a safe and timely manner. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. Unloads trucks of raw material to ensure a constant flow of material into processing area. Obtains samples of raw materials during unloading process as instructed by supervisor. Operates yard and plant equipment to unload and load materials. Washes plant equipment, vehicles, and processing areas as necessary using high pressure power washer. Performs general cleaning as needed in work areas. Assures equipment and work area is clean after each shift. Performs periodic preventative maintenance of equipment as determined by Supervisor. Maintains safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations. All other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in operating a yard tractor or equivalent training preferred. Good oral and written communication skills; able to follow oral and written directions. Ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed. Physical Demands Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch. Frequently must push, pull, move or lift up to 50 lbs. Regularly required reach with hands and arms. Work Environment Job functions will be carried out in a bakery facility which requires tolerance for high heat and/or cold temperatures.
