Business Center Drive, Memphis, TN 38134 Job Summary EKI Medical Transportation is seeking a reliable and professional Driver to join our team. We specialize in providing reliable, safe, and compassionate transportation for individuals of all ages with a variety of disabilities and mobility needs. As an NEMT Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients reach their medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other essential destinations safely and on time. We are primarily seeking candidates who are experienced with ambulatory/wheelchair transportation and understand the unique needs of clients requiring specialized care. Duties Safely operate vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and company policies. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking. Communicate effectively with passengers regarding routes, schedules, and any changes. Maintain vehicles in good working condition by performing routine checks and reporting any issues. Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring the safe handling of luggage or equipment. Follow assigned routes and schedules while being flexible to accommodate changes as needed. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle at all times. Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Bilingual Drivers needed. Transport clients to and from designated locations in a safe, timely, and courteous manner. Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations. Experience in wheelchair transportation or a similar caregiving role is preferred. Excellent time management skills and the ability to maintain schedules efficiently. A commitment to safety and adherence to all traffic regulations. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening, CPR, DOT Physical, and F-Endorsement.
