Hot Shot / Pilot Car Driver J&D Equipment Hauling, LLC. Lebanon, TN 37090 Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Pilot Car/ Hot Shot Driver to join our team. As a Pilot Car Driver, you will be responsible for escorting our oversized loads and guiding our drivers through challenging routes, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols. Your expertise and attention to detail will be instrumental in preventing accidents and ensuring the smooth flow of traffic during transport. As a Hot Shot Driver, you will specialize in hauling smaller, often time-sensitive loads within a local or regional area. Responsibilities Lead and escort our drivers through designated routes, providing guidance and support. Safely navigate diverse routes to deliver a variety of loads. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding oversized load transportation. Communicate effectively with our drivers, dispatchers, and other teams to coordinate logistics and resolve any issues that may arise. Perform pre and post-trip inspections of the vehicle you are driving, ensuring it is in optimal condition. Maintain accurate records of routes, expenses, and any incidents that occur during transportation. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, prioritizing the well-being of yourself, our drivers, and the public.
