Due to continuedgrowth and expansion into the market, we are currently acceptingapplications for Local Truck Driver CDL A Route Delivery Drivers towork in our distribution warehouse within 30 miles of Nashville,TN Compensation The annual salary range is $80,000 to $90,000 per year whichincludes: Hourly wage of $28.00 per hour Overtime paid after 40 hours per week Typical work week is 45-60 hours per week Safety shoes required; $250 vouchers provided per year. Work Schedule may change as business needs change; must beflexible with work schedule Responsibilities Fingerprint 400-900 cases per day, highly physical, touchfreight. Some deliveries require going up and down stairs. Work in refrigerated environments inside and outdoor elements,year-round. Secure loads using load straps before and after everystop. Route delivery, driver unload, lift-gate, pallet jack, curveramp, and 2-wheel hand cart Touch freight, case delivery of food-grade products to Chipotlerestaurants Drive CDL A day cabs with 36′- 42′ pup trailers to transportmaterials and equipment to specific route destinations Secure pallets using straps. Strap and unstrap at eachdelivery. Document pre-trip and post-trip inspections Manage hours of service (HOS) and ensure DOT compliance Use of keys, alarm codes, tablets, etc. for overnightdeliveries Provide excellent customer service Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle Reporting maintenance/repair issues on tractors and trailersRequirements Minimum of 6 months CDL A Commercial driving experience Local, multiple-stop delivery experience using hand-cart, ramp,and/or pallet jack is required. Foodservice delivery to restaurants is highly preferred. Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOTdrug and criminal background screen Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License, with airbrakes endorsement Familiar with Samsara systems a plus but will train Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit,kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normaluse of senses Able to work in all types of environments and under difficultconditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors Legally eligible to work in the U.S. Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English Must pass pre-hire drug screen and physical Be able to lift, push, pull 65 pounds with no assistance
