Full-time Class A CDL- Lead Truck Driver Average $85800 annually Home daily, guaranteed more home time Strong customer service and computer skills required Hazmat endorsement required If hazmat not currently held, candidates must acquire endorsement within 30 days from hire date. What you will do:

Assist operations and leadership team in various duties as assigned Foster a positive and productive relationship with customer Communicate effectively with offsite Penske management and personnel Coordinate maintenance repairs Work with systems like Fleet Manager, XRS, and SmartDrive Provide training and coaching feedback, as needed Perform additional ad-hoc responsibilities Assist on the dock to ensure all drivers depart and provide support where needed Cover routes as needed; deliver automotive parts to retail stores Unload palletized freight with pallet jack Scan product upon delivery You will drive: Late Model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks with lift-gates Best-in-class specs designed for comfort XM Radio in all trucks

Schedule:

Qualifications:

CDL Class A license Hazmat endorsement required within 30 days of hire date (with reimbursement) Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents Strong communication and customer service skills Prior leadership experience preferred Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2), this role requires English language proficiency Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required. This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
