Printer and Copier Technician We Rent Copiers Orlando, FL Job Overview:

At We Rent Copiers, Field Service Technicians ensure the quality delivery of We Rent Copiers’ service with customers at their event locations. As a Field Service Technician, you will deliver and pick up full-size copiers and printers to support customer events, you will perform preventative maintenance to reduce the occurrence of service issues, and you will repair machines when service issues occur. Previous experience working as a printer/copier technician required!

Responsibilities:

Safe and Timely Delivery:

Safely transport full-size copiers and printers to clients’ locations within designated timeframes. Plan delivery routes to optimize efficiency and minimize delays. 2.

Technical Support:

Assist clients with the initial setup of Sharp Copiers and HP printers, including basic configuration and connectivity. Diagnose and provide basic troubleshooting support for copiers and printers during delivery, if needed. 3.

Equipment Service:

Perform preventative maintenance and repair to keep machines running smoothly. Stay familiar with the functionality and features of Sharp Copiers and HP printers. 4.

Urban Driving:

Safely operate oversized vans in urban areas, displaying confidence and skill in navigating through traffic and congested streets. 5.

Professionalism and Customer Interaction:

Present a professional image and uphold the company’s values and reputation. Interact with clients in a courteous and helpful manner during deliveries and setup. 6.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery logs, including time of delivery, recipient’s signature, and any additional notes. 7.

Vehicle Maintenance:

Conduct routine inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition. Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 21 years of age High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license within the state of employment with a clean driving record and consent to recurring motor vehicle reporting throughout employment Tech-savvy with the ability to understand and troubleshoot basic technical issues. Comfortable driving extended long vans, especially in urban areas. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. At least 6 months of experience working as a printer/copier technician

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 75 pounds by hand or 500 pounds with a dolly, including full-size copiers and printers.
