ABOUT THE POSITION VHB
is looking for an on call Transportation Technician to join us! This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic team in our Orlando, FL office with our Data Collection department. The expected hours for this position can vary from 10-40 hours per week. Responsibilities Counting vehicles at intersections (manually or via video)
Placing rubber tubes in road to count traffic
Deploying cameras at intersections (download/upload videos)
Sketches, digital photographs, and other field data information
Maintaining data collection equipment and vehicles (regular oil changes, tune-ups, etc.) Skills & Abilities Ability to work in safely and efficiently
Must have basic computer skills
Ability to learn how to operate new devices and software quickly
Ability to work within timeframe and deadlines, and follow strict procedure and safety guidelines
Must have reliable transportation and cellphone
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Team oriented with strong capability to work independently Minimum Qualifications 0-1 years of experience in data collection
High school diploma or GED
Must possess an active driver’s license
Must have open availability and flexible with scheduling and must communicate with manager regarding schedules on a regular basis We are VHB!
