Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Maintain electrical systems and microprocessor-based controllers including relays, wiring, conflict monitors, signal suspension cables, poles, communication modules, underground conduits, related lighting, and vehicle detectors. Calibration and troubleshoot circuit boards, run diagnostic tests, analyze data of traffic flow and design timing of signal control devices. Review inventory to ensure you have the tools and replacement parts needed. Works independently and with Crews, and reports to administrative management. Works around and communicates with customers and public to maintaining a high level of professionalism Keep company equipment and vehicles well maintained Reports to General Foreperson any issues or concerns
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be able to read traffic blueprints and interpret plan set layouts. Ability to direct and oversee Traffic Signal Laborers. Able to operate heavy equipment to install signal items and install power service. Must be able to read, write and comprehend written and verbal instructions/information. Education & Experience High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Pre-Screen Upon offer, employees may be required to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check.
License & Certifications:
Valid Driver’s License required.

Must be willing to travel and work away from home
