Job Description
- Traffic Signal Technician
- You will be trained to perform emergency and preventive maintenance on traffic signals, control cabinets, controllers, and other technical equipment.
Upon completion of training, you will maintain, repair, and install traffic signal equipment. Additionally, you will handle power tools and materials for various projects and have the ability to lift heavy loads. Concentration on task performance and commitment to safety rules are essential. + Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and install traffic signal systems. + Knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, including low voltage. + Ability to self-manage and work independently once trained. + Commitment to safety rules and procedures. + Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy loads up to 50 pounds. + Good hand-eye coordination. + Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Additional Skills & Qualifications
- + ISMA Certification in Traffic Signal Inspection is highly desirable. + Previous experience preferred. + High school diploma or equivalent preferred. + Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus. + Mechanical ability required. + Commercial electrical experience is a plus. + PLC experience is a plus. + Must hold and maintain a valid PA driver’s license.

- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $52000.00 – $73000.00/yr. Signal Service Benefit Plan Offerings
