The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical assembly and with a focus on traffic controls. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with various tools and materials to ensure high-quality production standards. The Wire Technician will play a crucial role in assembling and testing traffic cabinets for various intersection applications. Duties Assemble traffic cabinets and panels according to specifications and blueprints. Utilize power tools and hand tools for installation tasks. Perform fixture installation as needed. Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with industry standards. Read and interpret blueprints for accurate assembly processes. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues during the assembly process. Read point-to-point electrical diagrams, blueprints and/or bullet point instructions when required Cut to length, strip, tin and crimp wire. Use powered and unpowered hand tools such as screwdrivers, wire cutters, crimpers and wrenches, drills, shear, powered screwdrivers. Interpret available spec, blueprints, diagrams and assemble sub-assemblies. Accurately eliminate and route wires at the designated locations as described by an electrical diagram. Solder wires to specified points. Complete inventory-tracking paperwork. Participate in continuous improvement efforts and trainings Complete cross training opportunities in other areas Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols. Experience:

High school diploma/GED as well as relevant electronics/assembly experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. Must have an aptitude for electronic control equipment 2. Must be able to pay attention to detail consistently 3. Must be able to work in a team environment 4. Must be able to solder 5. Must be able to read blueprints and/or instructional diagrams

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit; talk or hear; and use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee is required to use hands repetitively. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of worked are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
