This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with experienced professionals in the aviation industry. The Maintenance Associate will assist in the movement, cleaning, preservation, and maintenance of commercial jet engines while learning industry standards, safety regulations, and technical skills essential for career growth.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the engine movements, parts/engine cleaning, preservations, disassembly, assist in repair, and reassembly of engines under the supervision of experienced mechanics. Learn and follow maintenance manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings to perform engine repairs and modifications. Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, preservations, and replacing engine components. Adhere to all FAA regulations, safety protocols, and company policies. Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner. Participate in training programs to enhance technical knowledge and skill development. Qualifications /
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent; currently enrolled in or graduated from an FAA approved Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) training program is a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in aviation maintenance. Willingness to learn and work in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Basic knowledge of hand tools and mechanical systems; Familiarity with aircraft maintenance procedures and regulations is preferred. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to followed detailed instructions. Ability to lift heavy components and work in various conditions (heights, confined spaces, etc.). Forklift certified or willing to obtain certification Pay/schedule $25-$30 M-F Days Per diem to those that qualify Looking for long term employment.
