Salvage Yard Engine & Transmission Puller Dismantler B&T Auto Parts 5604 Old Winter Garden Road, Orlando, FL 32811 We are looking for a motivated and experienced Engine & Transmission Puller Technician to join our team at a busy salvage yard. This role involves removing engines, transmissions, and other related components from vehicles.
Responsibilities:
Safely remove engines and transmissions from a variety of vehicles using hand tools and power tools Pull additional parts from dismantled vehicles when requested (paid separately as additional) Work is under a covered, outdoor area on vehicles lifted by an automotive lift Maintain a clean and organized work area Ensure all pulled parts are handled with care and delivered to the designated drop-off point Follow safety procedures and company standards Meet daily productivity goals and quality standards Track and record pulled engines and transmissions for commission-based pay
Requirements:
Must have your own tools capable of completing engine and transmission pulls Prior experience working in a salvage yard, mechanic shop, or similar environment preferred Ability to work in outdoor conditions under a covered roof Must be physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting and manual labor Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Familiarity with common vehicle makes/models and drivetrain layouts is a plus Must be able to work safely around hydraulic lifts and heavy equipment
Compensation:
Daily base pay Commission paid per engine/transmission removed Additional pay for other parts pulled during each job
