Job Title:

Engineer Job Description Provide technical support and leadership in areas of assigned responsibility, including material selection, structural requirements, tolerances, aesthetics, and testing. Plan, direct, and control engineering efforts related to assigned projects, including establishing program criteria, planning, and scheduling. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure product designs meet specifications and prepare project development criteria in line with management objectives. Maintain coordination with other groups within the product Engineering Department, and assist other departments in preparing manuals and sales literature on assigned projects. Responsibilities Supervise the work of assigned resources, including internal or external contractors. Ensure the ability to perform job functions safely and complete all necessary safety training within required timeframes. Wear all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.) as per company policy. Develop new products by designing and documenting large steel weldments and assemblies. Prepare concept sketches, layouts, detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, Bills of Material, and Specification documents. Apply advanced welding processes in designs. Write test requests and troubleshoot mechanisms, performing forensic reviews of structural failures. Possess fundamental knowledge of hydraulic systems and components. Essential Skills Extensive experience with new concept design and documentation of large steel weldments and assemblies. Proficiency in preparing concept sketches, layouts, detailed 3D models, and 2D drawings. Application of advanced welding processes. Experience writing test requests and troubleshooting mechanisms. Fundamental knowledge of hydraulic systems and components. Proficiency in CREO, Windchill, ANSYS. Possession of a PE License. Experience in engineering off-highway equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in engineering equipment or related industry. 3 to 5 years of engineering experience. Work Environment Work in a normal office environment with occasional visits to job sites, test yards, or factories, focusing on safe working practices. Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards. Wear all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.) according to company policy. Adhere to established job-specific and facility-wide safety and health procedures and rules. Actively participate in safety and health training and address any safety or health issues. Be capable of being in various environmental conditions for brief periods, with possible physical activities including standing, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 25 pounds. Travel domestically up to 10%.
