Location:
West Columbia, SC A growing industrial operation is seeking an experienced CNC Mechanical and Electrical Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for performing general and complex repairs on CNC-controlled and PLC-controlled machines in a high-paced, continuous process manufacturing environment. We’re looking for a hands-on, technically sound technician with the ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair a variety of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform repairs and maintenance on CNC and manual machines, as well as PLC-controlled systems. Read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics to diagnose and repair equipment. Utilize skills in pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, power transmission, and lubrication. Apply electrical/electronic knowledge to work with PLCs, A/C & D/C motors and drives, and various wiring systems. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and identify hazards or areas needing attention. Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions; develop repair plans and execute effectively. Perform major electrical repairs from 480V systems to component-level fixes. Use testing devices such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and ohmmeters. Install wiring and conduit for machinery and cranes. Provide input on equipment lifecycle, upgrades, and capacity improvements. Maintain detailed records of maintenance work and materials used. Follow

Basic Qualifications:
Associate’s degree or 2 years of Electrical Trade School. Military training in electrical systems (Navy or Air Force) is a plus. Familiarity with standard shop math. 7-10 years of experience troubleshooting and maintaining CNC machines with live tooling. 10+ years of experience with Haas, Doosan, and/or Mazak machines. 5+ years of general industrial maintenance experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years of electrical maintenance experience. Relevant electrician certification or license. Familiarity with National Electric Code (NEC). Doosan/Mazak/Haas training or certification. Crane inspection certification is a plu
