Bunker Surveyor Precision Business Solutions, LLC – 5.0 Savannah, GA Job Details Contract From $17 an hour 15 hours ago Qualifications TWIC Card Driver’s License Entry level Full Job Description Posting will primarily be based out of Savannah, GA with occasional jobs to take place in either Charleston, SC and Jacksonville, FL. You MUST have the ability to reliably travel to any of these three sites. Valid driver’s license and TWIC card must be in-hand to be considered for the position . We cannot accept a receipt in lieu of TWIC card, as this will not be accepted at the port facilities. The bunker surveyor inspects and verifies the quality and quantity of fuel oil delivered to ships. They also ensure compliance with local and international standards. Responsibilities Measure and record : Compare the quantity of fuel delivered to the quantity received by the ship Verify quality : Ensure the fuel meets quality standards, including sulfur cap requirements Ensure safety : Check that the ship is moored securely and that hoses are in good condition Provide documentation : Document all processes and provide custom papers

Advise :

Help the chief engineer with safety checklists and custom papers Monitor flowmeter : Read and monitor the mass flowmeter while accounting for changing conditions Qualifications Bunker surveyors need to be experienced, well-trained, and have calibrated equipment. This includes gauging tapes, thermometers, flashlights, sample bottles, and multi-gas detectors. Bunker surveyors are essential for ensuring industry-standard compliance, efficiency, and environmental sustainability. Ship crews are often not trained as quantity surveyors. Training and equipment will be provided as necessary. •Position is classified as an
