Position Summary:
The Transportation Technician plays a key role in the daily operations of our Transportation Department. This individual is responsible for safely transporting clients and assisting with departmental functions related to vehicle maintenance and logistics. The ideal candidate is skilled in basic vehicle care, has a strong attention to detail, and is committed to ensuring the safety and comfort of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide safe and timely transportation for clients to and from Adult Training Centers Ensure client safety and comfort during all transportation services Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency transportation needs Support quality control initiatives such as inspections, task forces, and committees Communicate ongoing vehicle maintenance needs to the Assistant Director of Facility Management Maintain accurate records for vehicle inspections, repairs, and other documentation
Qualifications:
Valid (non-probationary) driver’s license from New Jersey or New York Clean driving record High school diploma or GED Able to lift 50 pounds or more

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00

$17.00 – $19.00 per hour
