Shipping/Receiving Support Position Available In Cheatham, Tennessee

Arcosa Marine is searching for a Shipping/Receiving Support in our Ashland City, TN barge manufacturing plant. Arcosa Marine Products, Inc., is part of Arcosa’s Inland Barge Group, and is a leading manufacturer of barges used to transport cargo on U.S. inland waterways. Arcosa Marine Products manufactures dry cargo barges, including flat-deck and hopper barges, that are used to transport a variety of products including grain, coal, and aggregates. Arcosa Marine Products also manufactures tank barges that carry petroleum, fertilizer, ethanol, chemicals, and other liquid cargoes. It is the largest U.S. manufacturer of fiberglass hopper barge covers used primarily on grain barges. Additionally, Arcosa Marine Products provides a full line of deck hardware to the marine industry, including hatches, castings, and winches for towboats and dock facilities.

What you will do:

Provide data entry support such as receiving material or relieving on-hand quantities. Create and track inventory related information in spreadsheets. Sort and organize hard copies of paperwork. Review various forms of data for discrepancies. Attend and participate in our regular safety meetings.

What you will need:

Strongly developed organizational skills Computer skills such as typing and experience in Microsoft Office Proficiency in Office 365, Excel, etc. Have great attention to detail. Clear and effective communication skills Ability to follow orders, especially under pressure, and prioritize tasks throughout the workday. A positive outlook and a willingness to learn.
