Are you ready to embark on an exciting opportunity as a TESAircraft Dispatcher? We are currently seeking qualified candidatesto fill this essential role within our School of Aviation at AuburnUniversity. The chosen candidate will facilitate the dispatching of aircraftand flight training devices used by Auburn University School ofAviation and its Department of Professional Flight, to include thereporting and tracking of aircraft maintenance events. Operational hours extend from 4:30am-9:00pm Monday-Saturday;candidate MUST be available to work some Saturdays. Temporary Employment Services (TES), a unit of the AuburnUniversity Department of Human Resources, is an in-house supportcenter established to meet the temporary employment needs of theuniversity. TES provides qualified and dedicated temporaryemployees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffingneeds throughout the campus. Temporary employees are hired for avariety of reasons with the most common being: Assistance in the place of a regular employee who is absent fora specified period of time Additional assistance during periods of abnormal or peakworkloads Assistance with special projects Seasonal work Emergencies If you are looking for an employment opportunity, TES is a greatway to showcase your professional skills and assist AuburnUniversity while gaining valuable work experience within highereducation. Essential Functions Dispatches laboratory training flights in accordance with thepublished daily schedule in coordination with flight laboratoryinstructors and leadership. Assigns resources necessary to support flight traininglessons. Ensures accurate aircraft status is displayed in thecomputer-based management system. Assists with student records management and otherrecord-keeping and data collection tasks. Assists in tracking inventory of training materials andsupplies. Must maintain clear communication to aircraftpersonnel. Assists in filling student orders for trainingmaterials. Assists with Saturday flight shuttle, as needed. Other job duties as assigned. Desired Qualifications Experience with iOS and Microsoft Office is strongly desired.
