AUTHORITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for control and issue of engineering documents including drawings, technical manuals and vendor drawings Responsible for issuing, receiving and tracking drawings to Production, Client and Regulatory Body Responsible for tracking all issued documents through their approval process. Responsible for uploading and downloading documents to secure websites Confers with document originators or engineering liaison personnel to resolve discrepancies and compiles required changes to documents. Responsible for operation of reproduction equipment. Responsible for expediting Vendor Furnished Information (VFI) with Austal suppliers.
QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE
High School Graduate; Prefer AA degree if in related area Prefer 1 year of experience in drawing and technical document control Excellent time management skills Must be well organized Excellent written and oral skills Must be trust worthy and capable of dealing with confidential information Ability to work under pressure and to a schedule Understanding of scheduling and an ability to adhere to strict deadlines US Citizen Ability to read drawings would be advantageous
