We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented FAA-Certified Flight Dispatcher (OCC Coordinator) to join our Operations Control Center and play a critical role in the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of daily flight operations. Position Summary The OCC Coordinator is responsible for planning, releasing, and monitoring flights under CFR Part 135 and 91 operations. This role ensures full regulatory compliance and operational efficiency, while supporting safety and coordination across all flight dispatch functions. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary communication link between flight crews and internal departments, including sales, maintenance, and crew scheduling. Coordinate with airports and FBOs to secure handling services, slot times, and ground arrangements. Organize client support services such as in-flight catering, ground transportation, rental cars, accommodations, and other special requests. Prepare and issue comprehensive flight briefing packages and dispatch releases, maintaining joint responsibility with flight crews. Plan flight routes factoring in weather conditions, airspace restrictions, and operational costs to ensure safety and efficiency. Calculate required fuel loads and alternate airports in accordance with regulatory and company standards. Evaluate aircraft performance and remain thoroughly informed about current and forecasted weather conditions. Deliver detailed pre-flight briefings to flight crews covering aircraft status, flight planning, weather updates, and airport information. Monitor the status of all active flights and relay critical updates or operational changes to relevant stakeholders. Proactively identify and resolve potential disruptions, including weather, maintenance, and logistical delays. Cancel or amend flight releases when safety or operational conditions require changes to planned routes. Coordinate with Maintenance Control to confirm aircraft airworthiness and compliance. Recommend alternate flight plans and negotiate revised clearances or routings with Air Traffic Control (ATC). Arrange international overflight and landing permits, ground handling, and customs clearances as required. Oversee crew logistics and positioning to ensure seamless execution of all flight operations. Ensure compliance with crew duty and rest limitations under applicable federal regulations. Manage aircraft diversions and recovery planning. Initiate emergency response protocols and company notifications when necessary.
