KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The New Pacific Aircraft Dispatcher is a part of the Flight Operations team ensuring adequate Operational Control and safety of flight for all New Pacific aircraft operations, whether Part 121 Domestic, Part 121 Supplemental or Part 91 Non-Routine Flight Operations. The Aircraft Dispatcher collaborates with other departments as appropriate to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Upholding safety by gathering, reviewing, and disseminating aviation weather and NOTAMs to ensure the safe initiation and continuation of flights.
Demonstrating commitment through accurately communicating the Company’s Aircraft Movements so customers as well as other co-workers are aware of flight and aircraft status.
Acting with integrity when completing a Risk Assessment for all flights considering Equipment, Manpower, Weather and Runway risks.
Embodying the spirit of connectedness by coordinating with the aircraft maintenance department to ensure aircraft are airworthy and suitable for the intended flight.
Showing reliability through recording the amount of fuel required for the safe completion of flight according to the aircraft, distance of flight, maintenance limitations, weather conditions, and minimum fuel requirements, prescribed by federal aviation regulations.
Promoting commitment by engaging in courteous and respectful interactions with customers, supervisors, co-workers, and business associates.
