Full Job Description Job Summary:

Southeast Airport Services is seeking a Janitorial Quality Control (QC) Agent. The Quality Control Agent is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation standards of airport facilities are consistently met or exceeded. This role plays a key part in upholding service quality by conducting inspections, identifying deficiencies, and working with supervisory staff to implement corrective actions. The QC Agent serves as a liaison between the janitorial team and operations management, fostering accountability, safety compliance, and continuous improvement across all cleaning services provided in the airport environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform both scheduled and random inspections of airport facilities, including terminals, restrooms, and public waiting areas, to assess cleanliness and maintenance. Evaluate sanitation standards in accordance with company policies and airport regulatory requirements. Accurately document inspection findings, noting deficiencies, corrective measures implemented, and follow-up actions as necessary. Collaborate with Janitorial Supervisors and Team Leads to address areas needing improvement or rework. Assist with training efforts by reinforcing quality expectations and procedural compliance among janitorial staff. Monitor the use of cleaning supplies and materials; report any shortages, overuse, or misuse to management. Ensure adherence to all applicable health, safety, and security guidelines within the airport environment. Escalate recurring or high-risk issues to the Operations Manager for timely resolution. Audit cleaning schedules and checklists to verify task completion and compliance with service standards. Act as a key point of contact between janitorial leadership and operations management on quality-related matters.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in Facilities Management, Environmental Services, or related field is a plus. Minimum of 2 years of experience in custodial, janitorial, or environmental services, preferably in a supervisory or quality assurance role. Previous experience in an airport, transportation, or high-traffic public environment is strongly preferred. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and safety procedures (OSHA standards, SDS handling, etc.). Strong attention to detail and commitment to upholding quality standards. Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear feedback and direction. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure. Strong documentation and reporting skills; familiarity with inspection checklists or QC software is a plus. Must be able to walk for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform visual inspections across large facilities. Must be able to pass airport security clearance and background checks. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs.

Compensation:
Hourly Rate:

$19.75 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Opportunities for overtime may be available based on operational demands.

Scheduling:

Full-time position: standard work week consists of 40 hours . 2nd

Shift:

1:45 pm to 10:20 pm 3rd

Shift:

10:00 pm to 6:30 am Must be available to work flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays .
