Flight Dispatcher Position Available In Fayette, Georgia

Flight Dispatcher BEACON Aviation, Inc. Peachtree City, GA 30269 • Hybrid work Beacon Aviation is seeking full-time Flight Dispatchers to work at our Operations Center in Peachtree City Georgia. Beacon Aviation is not a typical charter/ management company! We are an ACMI company that provides domestic and international flight services to government and Humanitarian organizations around the world. The Aircraft Dispatcher collaborates with our Pilots to ensure safe and reliable flight operations.

Location and Schedule:

Four 10-hour shifts per week or Five 8-hour shifts per week. Must currently reside or being willing to relocate to within 60 miles of Peachtree City, Georgia. Hybrid (Work from Home) may be considered based on experience.

Essential Functions:

Organize and coordinate flights for our customers to ensure that every trip is exceptional from takeoff to landing. Develop and optimize flight plans considering factors like weather conditions, air traffic, aircraft performance, and regulatory requirements. Responsible for continuously tracking the progress of multiple flights, ensuring they adhere to their planned routes, schedule, and safety protocols. Responsible for maintaining constant communication with the pilots and other relevant personnel to provide updates, relay important information, and make necessary adjustments to the flight in real time. Responsible for checking NOTAMS, a critical task to ensure safety and compliance with airspace regulations. Collaborate with relevant departments and vendors to ensure that all aspects of the flight are well-coordinated. Prepare and distribute operational flight plans, including route details, fuel requirements, and alternate airport information. Responsible for resolving issues that may arise during flights, such as route changes, or airspace restrictions. Respond to emails, phone calls, and company chat in a timely and professional manner

Certificates and Licenses:

FAA Dispatcher Certificate preferred

Other Requirements:

U.S. Citizen Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage confidential information with discretion and integrity. Previous experience in flight planning, dispatch, or related aviation operations desired. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel) Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in flight planning software and tools (e.g., Jeppesen, Jet Insight, ForeFlight Dispatch, etc.). Demonstrated knowledge of aviation regulations and procedures. $20.00 – $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
