Truck Scale Operator Southeast Recycling Group 1622 Long Branch Road, Grover, NC 28073 Job Overview We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Scale Operator to join our team at our scrap metal facility in Grover, NC. This in-person role is responsible for weighing inbound and outbound loads, handling cash and check payment transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of the scale house. Duties Accurately capture scale weights of materials entering and leaving the yard Record material types, and customer/vendor information into our tracking system Handle and reconcile daily cash transactions in a secure and accurate manner Provide receipts and payouts to customers in accordance with company policies Maintain accurate logs and documentation for reporting and compliance Keep the scale house clean, organized, and stocked with necessary materials Provide excellent customer service to clients and vendors Perform basic administrative tasks and support daily operations as needed Experience High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience in cash handling and/or scale operation preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Must be trustworthy, dependable, and punctual Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working in an industrial/outdoor environment Basic computer skills (familiarity with Excel, email, etc) Trucking or logistics experience is a plus Join us as a Scale Operator where your attention to detail will help drive our success in delivering high-quality service to our customers.
