Moore County Airport seeks a skilled and service-driven FBO Manager to oversee all Fixed Base Operator operations at this dynamic general aviation facility in Pinehurst/Southern Pines, NC. Reporting to the Airport Executive Director, the FBO Manager will lead daily operations, customer service, and financial performance while ensuring compliance with federal safety and environmental regulations. This leadership role requires a seasoned aviation professional with strong team management skills, a passion for excellence, and a strategic mindset to support ongoing growth. Required Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years in a senior management role. At least 3 years specifically in aviation or FBO operations .
Leadership & Management Skills:
Proven success in financial and operational leadership . Experience with budgeting , P&L management , and team supervision .
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office . Familiarity with aviation-related management software .
Other:
Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills. Must have a valid driver’s license . Preferred Attributes (Highly Desired but Not Required): Passion for aviation and a customer-first mindset .
