Golf Cart Attendant Position Description
POSITION SUMMARY
To greet customers as they arrive at the club, assist customers with all outside services, keep the lines of communication open with golf shop staff, and keep driving range set up in an orderly manner with golf balls available.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Stage the necessary number of carts needed in an orderly fashion, pulling them out in numerical order beginning with next cart after the last cart of the previous day. Ensure that carts are properly stocked with supplies, and are meticulously clean (no trash in cart, windshield clean, tires clean, and no water spots). Set up Driving Range daily as follows: rotate markers from front to back of tee and from left side to right side; keep baskets picked up and stacked neatly at dispensing area; maintain adequate supply of range balls in dispenser; maintain a clean environment around dispenser; pick the entire range daily, checking the truckster and picker unit for service before using; wash balls before placing in dispenser and change water in washer. Following completed rounds, assist the customer to either the bag drop or their car, at their preference. Thoroughly clean returned carts, check supplies, return to proper parking space and place on charger. Maintain a clean staging area, cart storage area and spike cleaners. Other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form. Must be flexible and adapt to situations that do not follow standard operating procedures. Ability to speak clearly, listen carefully, and use personal judgment and specialized knowledge to give information to people. Ability to multi-task.
