Front-of-House Manager Position Overview:

As a Valet Attendant, you will manage the parking and retrieval of vehicles while ensuring safety, efficiency, and convenience for guests. You will provide excellent customer service, ensuring guests feel welcomed and respected, and collaborate with other valet attendants to maintain smooth operations and prevent congestion in the valet area.

Key Responsibilities:

Greeting & Door Opening:

• Always greet guests warmly with a smile and professional demeanor.
• Open the vehicle door for the driver respectfully to allow them to exit safely and efficiently.
• Provide a prompt valet ticket to the driver, ensuring they understand the process and know where to retrieve their vehicle after dining.
• Maintain a polite and respectful attitude towards each guest, ensuring a positive first impression of Coasis.

Vehicle Parking & Retrieval:

• Safely park and retrieve vehicles in a timely manner using proper parking protocols.
• Follow the pass-off valet system, ensuring that there are always two valet attendants available to prevent congestion and ensure smooth hand-offs between attendants.
• If congestion occurs, ensure efficient communication with fellow valet attendants to maintain a seamless process.
• Track valet tickets and ensure that they are organized and properly logged for future retrieval.

Vehicle Safety & Security:

• Inspect vehicles for any damages before accepting them and note any existing damage on the ticket.
• Ensure that vehicles are parked securely and that the area is properly monitored.
• Maintain the safety and security of the vehicles and the valet area.

Customer Assistance:

• Provide assistance to guests with their belongings (bags, coats, etc.) when necessary, ensuring a full-service experience.
• Ensure smooth traffic flow by maintaining a clear valet area, free from any obstruction.
• Help direct guests to the restaurant entrance and assist with directions or special requests when needed.

Cleanliness & Organization:

• Ensure that the valet area is tidy and organized at all times.
• Report any maintenance issues with the parking area or equipment to the Front-of-House Manager.

Teamwork & Collaboration:

• Work together with other valet attendants to maintain effective communication and ensure the valet process is executed smoothly and efficiently.
• Pass off vehicles between valet attendants as needed to avoid congestion and maximize efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous customer service experience.
• Previous valet or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Physically fit and able to stand, walk, and move quickly during shifts.
• Must be punctual, reliable, and have a strong work ethic.

Work Conditions:

• Work in both indoor and outdoor environments (rain or shine).
• Evening and weekend shifts may be required, especially during peak dining hours and special events.
• Ability to handle high traffic volumes during busy shifts.

Job Types:
