Full Job Description Summary:

The Event Services Setup Attendant is responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and protecting the pristine appearance of all convention areas, both front and back of house. They will observe and facilitate the load-in and load-out processes of outside vendors into convention spaces.

Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain ballrooms and carpets using broom, dustpan, sweeper machines, and shampoo machine. Observe, report, and stop any situations or actions that may cause damage to property. Apply and remove carpet protection film. Perform basic repairs, maintain machines, and use basic tools. Pressure wash outside loading and function areas. Communicate and enforce hotel policies to external and internal associates. All other duties as assigned.

Experience/Qualifications:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Capable of writing simple correspondence. Effective in presenting information in one-on-one and small group situations. Applies common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions. Handles standardized situations with occasional or no variables. Ability to lift- up to 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. infrequently. Must be able to legally work in the USA.
