$27.2K – $30.7K a year 1 day ago Qualifications English Guest services Entry level Full Job Description We are looking for a full-Time Bellman/Driver to greet guest, valet cars, help with luggage and to shuttle guests to various locations in the Tampa Bay Area as needed. Must be 25 years or older. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, nights, weekends and holidays.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
: Responsible for greeting and assisting every guest upon their arrival and departure. Responsible for opening the door for guests when standing at bell stand. Responsible for assisting valet during peak times. Responsible for providing courteous guest services by responding promptly and efficiently to inquiries, requests and complaints. Responsible for retrieving guest?s luggage and other requested personal items from cars, busses, vans and placing on bell carts to transport to guests assigned rooms. Responsible for placing luggage and other requested personal items from guest?s rooms and placing on bell carts to front desk area and load in guest?s vehicles. Responsible for escorting guests to room accommodations and visually inspect guestroom and telephone for any deficiencies such as towels, etc., making sure room is ready for guest. Also responsible for pointing out features out to guests and guest directory. Must have an enthusiastic, pleasing and helpful attitude toward each guest and fellow employees. Responsible for being professionally groomed in prescribed uniform including nametag and nonskid shoes on each scheduled shift. Responsible to listen and respond to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice. Answer questions and offer assistance giving accurate information regarding outlet hours, other resort services, directions to local attractions or function rooms, car rentals, airline shuttle service, taxi service, etc. Responsible for giving out and sharing with resort guest?s pertinent information about the resort and its services and informs guests at every opportunity. Responsible for complying with all Safety Harbor Resort and Spa policies and procedures. Responsible for knowing daily event schedules and has ability to direct guests to functions. Responsible for reporting to bell stand on time and in full uniform for scheduled shift. Required to be visible and available to the guests at all times. Responsible for attending all required meetings. Responsible for properly keeping destination log current. This will enable other staff and/or management to know where to locate you if needed. This log is located and must be kept on the Guest Services station. Responsible for ensuring that the front office, lobby, guest services stand, and other public areas are kept clean and uncluttered at all times. Responsible and required to report all cash tips to accounting payroll office. Responsible for organizing and storing luggage as necessary in designated area. Responsible for assisting guests with any special needs assistance, such as obtaining wheelchair. Responsible for deliveries to guest?s rooms in an efficient and timely manner (such as flowers, mail, faxes, etc.). Responsible for delivering packages to resort offices that arrive to the belldesk. Responsible for checking work schedule and informing Front Office Manager of any discrepancies. Responsible for making reservations, appointments and arranging for transportation for guests as needed. Responsible for reporting any safety concerns to appropriate manager/supervisor. Responsible for completing daily checklists.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Must have strong guest service skills. Must be able to read, write and communicate in the English language. Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 75 lbs. Must be able to stand on feet for long periods. Must be able to work in and with groups of different cultures and backgrounds. Must be able to walk length of resort continuously throughout the scheduled daily shift. Must be able to push bell cart throughout the resort continuously during the scheduled shift. Must be able to push bell stand carts, which can weigh well over 200lbs when loaded with luggage, throughout the day and up ramps. Must be able to walk, run, bend, stoop, reach and stand. Must be able to pick up luggage. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to remain calm and guest services orientated during heavy check-in and checkout periods. Must be able to make reservations and appointments and arrange for transportation for guests. Must be able to work outside and be able to change throughout the scheduled shift going outside to inside and inside to outside.
