Job Summary This position is responsible for the operation, coordination, cleaning, and secure storage of gas-powered golf carts, as well as driving range support at the Golf and Conference Center. The attendant ensures that carts are clean, fueled, available, and safely stored; assists with transporting guests and staff; and picks up range balls to maintain a professional and welcoming golf environment. Responsibilities Operates and maintains gas-powered golf carts for guest and staff use. (40%)
o Drives carts to assist with transportation for events and daily operations.
o Fuels carts and monitors them for safe and proper use.
o Secures and locks all golf carts in storage at the end of each shift.
o Assists with basic checks (e.g., tire pressure, fuel level) and reports any concerns. Cleans and prepares golf carts for use. (20%)
o Wipes down seats, steering wheels, and touchpoints between uses.
o Removes trash and ensures carts are presentable for guests.
o Maintains a tidy and organized cart staging area. Picks up and manages driving range balls. (20%)
o Retrieves range balls using a ball collection cart and equipment.
o Delivers balls to the washing station and restocks the range.
o Reports any issues with range equipment.
Coordinates transportation logistics and supports event setup. (10%)
o Assigns carts and assists with route planning for events.
o Provides brief safety instructions to new cart users.
o Assists with setup and support during tournaments, meetings, and special functions.
Performs general support tasks. (10%)
o Maintains cart and range usage logs.
o Offers guest assistance and directions as needed.
o Follows all safety procedures for fueling, transporting, and storing equipment. Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior experience in golf, hospitality, or facilities support is a plus.
Valid State of Georgia driver¿s license or ability to obtain one.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and event days.
Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to cleanliness and guest service.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Knowledge of gas-powered vehicle operation and basic maintenance.
Understanding of cleanliness standards in a hospitality setting.
Skill in safely operating carts and range collection equipment.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to follow established procedures for security and cleaning.
Familiarity with golf course or event operations is a plus.
