Position:

The Event Staff members are the frontline personnel responsible for greeting, engaging and interacting with all customers attending events (sporting events, music concerts, etc.).

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Facility Operations:

Screening of event traffic as assigned. Processing of event passes, credit card transactions as assigned. Direction of event and transient traffic as assigned. Setup/tear down of all event signage and equipment. Ensuring that all facilities are swept free of debris following the completing of an event.

Customer Service:

Promote good customer relations by consistently providing exceptional customer service with a professional and friendly demeanor, positive attitude, and willingness to help at all times. Resolve customer service issues or questions as needed or refer the situation to a supervisor for resolution. Meet and greet each customer with courtesy and great customer service. Understand how to handle the different types of customers and where to direct them.

Skills:

Adhere to dress code – Must be able to work outside in any weather conditions (rain, snow, wind, heat, etc.) and be able to continuously stand for extended periods of time (3-6 hours) Follow all safety standards. Communicate with management, supervisors and traffic directors. Expedite the traffic flow in a timely fashion. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively. Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language. Must be open to feedback, differing opinions and other points of view. Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness. Demonstrate the ability to seek improvement. Excellent teambuilding and interpersonal skills.

Experience:

6+ months in a customer service role Experience handling cash, conducting monetary transactions. Parking industry experience is preferred but not required. Previous experience working in outdoor/extreme weather conditions preferred.

Reporting of all incidents in accordance with company policies

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift, push and pull at least 25 pounds. Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time. Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift. Willingness to work in the elements – heat, wind, snow, rain, etc. Ability to work all Events as scheduled. Ability to lift, push and pull at least 25 pounds.
