JOB SUMMARY

The Cashier Garage Attendant files guest’s keys and parking tickets systemically to ensure efficient retrieval of guest’s vehicles.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Ensures files properly reflect the location of all parked in vehicles parked in the garage. Maintains on-going inventory board to keep track of available spaces and locations. Ensures parking tickets have been completed correctly by Valet Parkers. Maintains records of total cars parked and delivered by each attendant to ensure “tip” quality. Maintains acceptable appearance and treats guests courteously at all times. Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Harrah’s and encourages others to do the same. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies. Must be able to operate Garage Parking Control System and cash register. Process cash and cash equivalent transactions and make change with customers. Reconcile garage cashier funds at shift start and end. Provides revenue reports to Transportation Shift Supervisor and Casino Cashier.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to read and write English. Must have good organizational skills. Office experience helpful, but not required. Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. Must present a well-groomed appearance.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIROMENTAL DEMANDS

Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations at all times keeping things orderly. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
