The Cypress of Charlotte is recruiting for a hospitality focused Valet Parking Attendant to join our team! Our Valet Parking Attendants work a Part-Time, PRN schedule. The shifts are 4:30pm to 8:30pm, holidays, weekdays and/or weekends. Our Valet Parking Attendants are responsible for maintaining a superior level of quality service and cleanliness at all times in addition to parking resident vehicles, greeting residents and guests, and performing transportation duties in a safe and efficient manner. Valet Parking Attendant:
Efficiently performs pick-up and delivery of members for all scheduled campus activities where transportation is needed in a warm and safe manner. When vehicles arrive will open doors and greet members and guests by name. Carefully help members and guest who need assistance. Retrieve/Replace walkers, wheelchairs, etc., and assist when a need is perceived. Maintain the cleanliness of the Cypress vehicles, inside and out. Maintain all equipment and supplies in proper condition. Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have: Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver license and maintain a “clean” driving record. Previous Valet experience preferred. Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend written and oral instructions in English. Ability to fully comprehend others and communicate in a respectful, understanding, and empathetic manner demonstrating tolerance and exemplary customer service. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds unassisted. Exposure to weather elements e.g., rain, cold, heat, etc. Frequently must be able to get in and out of automobiles and drive short distances for resident pick-up and deliveries. Must be able to continuously walk or jog on a hilly plane to park and retrieve vehicles. Pay starts at $15 an hour depending on experience (no tips).
