Parking Attendant BSM Facility Solutions Rego Park, NY 11374 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Parking Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing parking operations, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the safety of vehicles in our care. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor. Duties Greet customers upon arrival and assist with parking their vehicles. Monitor parking areas to ensure proper vehicle placement and adherence to parking regulations. Handle cash transactions efficiently using a cash register and ensure accurate cash handling. Provide information about the facility, services, and local attractions to enhance the customer experience. Assist with valet parking services as needed, demonstrating safe driving practices. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parking area. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any issues or concerns. Address customer inquiries or complaints promptly and professionally. Requirements Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred. Familiarity with retail math for accurate cash handling is a plus. Experience in valet parking or dealership settings is advantageous. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to drive various types of vehicles safely. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with parking operations.
