Position Overview:

As a Valet Attendant at our prestigious 5-star luxury hotel, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience. Your role is crucial in setting the tone for the exceptional service our guests expect.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Arrival and Departure:

While providing outstanding 5-star service, greet guests with warmth and professionalism upon arrival. Assist with the check-in and check-out process, providing information about the hotel’s amenities. 2.

Luggage Assistance:

Safely handle guests’ luggage, transporting it to and from rooms promptly. Offer assistance with carrying luggage and provide information about room features. 3.

Valet Parking:

Collaborate with the valet parking team to ensure a smooth and efficient parking and retrieval process for guests’ vehicles. Safely drive and park vehicles, adhering to company and safety standards. 4.

Guest Services:

Provide information about the hotel’s facilities, services, and local attractions. Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally. 5.

Communication:

Maintain clear and effective communication with the front desk, concierge, and other departments to ensure coordinated guest services. Relay important information about guest preferences and special requests. 6.

Safety and Security:

Monitor the entrance area for any suspicious activity and report concerns promptly. Adhere to safety and security procedures to ensure the well-being of guests and their belongings. Must successfully pass and maintain a clean background check. No special certifications required. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor settings, including parking garages and active traffic areas. Role involves regular interaction with team members, clients, vendors, and guests; use of communication tools (phones, radios); and operation of moving vehicles. Technology & Communication Tools Employees may be required to use personal cell phones for work-related communication and access to work systems or applications. Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA): This position is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), meaning employees in this role is eligible for overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40 in a workweek at a rate of one and one-half times their regular hourly rate.
