Summary Under the daily direction of the Manager of Parking Services or Assistant Manager of Parking Services, performs all booth functions required in Public Building Authority (PBA) managed parking structures by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The specific statements shown in each section of this description are not intended to be all-inclusive. They represent typical elements and criteria necessary to successfully perform the job. Assist management in the daily operations of the parking facility. Perform cashiering functions as needed. These occur in and out of booth when needed. Assists customers in the use of automated revenue control equipment including ticket dispensers, pay stations and exit station equipment. Prepares daily sales reports and cashier bank deposit when operating fee computer. Daily collection and categorization of process parking ticket transactions. Stock and maintain all revenue control equipment. Ability to work flexible shift schedule. Ability to be trained to operate and maintain revenue control equipment. Skilled in maintenance and the upkeep of a facility. Ability to log information and make mathematical computations quickly and accurately. Knowledge and ability to use a calculator and fee computer. Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required and previously cash handling experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities—non-physical: Working knowledge of generally accepted cash handling practices. Knowledge of mathematical processes to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Knowledge of computation of rates, ratios, and percentages. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memoranda. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to clients, vendors and co-workers. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, and numerical or graph and diagram form. Ability to attend to detail and process; compare data and reconcile differences. Ability to work independently with little instruction.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of Items 1 through 6. Personal computer and related peripherals. Windows Operating or networked computer environment. Cash register or similar system. Calculator.
