This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide top-notch customer service. They also assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the service area. Schedule
- Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm; Occasional weekend hours as needed Compensation
- $18•20 per hour depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Move, park, and position RVs safely within the lot, showroom, or service area (employees must always use a spotter when moving coaches to ensure safety and prevent accidents). Assist with customer RV pick-ups and drop-offs. Perform visual inspections and ensure RVs are safe and ready for customers. Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the RV lot and dealership. Assist service and sales teams by transporting RVs to designated locations. Conduct minor maintenance and exterior cleaning as needed for delivery (check seats and steps and remove any paper mats and floor runners). Follow safety protocols to prevent damage to vehicles and property. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests. Complete a thorough visual inspection before and after every coach move to identify any damage or issues. Plug in and scan coaches to their designated location after every move to ensure proper tracking and power supply. Complete check-in procedures using the company JotForm for every RV arrival. Return keys to the Keyper system or hand them off to the next person responsible for the coach. Employees must refrain from personal phone use (social media is not allowed during company time). Report any issues with RVs to the service manager. Follow safety procedures and use equipment properly. Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Experience in vehicle transportation, valet, or a similar role is preferred. Ability to operate various sizes of RVs, including motorhomes and trailers. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and efficiently
Working Conditions:
Physical ability to climb in and out of large vehicles and lift light to moderate loads Work is primarily conducted on-site at the service shop May require extended periods of standing, walking, and bending May require lifting or moving heavy equipment or objects May require working in tight spaces or at heights May require exposure to natural elements such as inclement weather, extreme temperatures May require exposure to loud noises, fumes, or chemicals May require working weekends or holidays
