Fill In/As Needed Deliver Driver / Cargo Van Owners Only Phillips Trucking Service LLC Birmingham, AL 35261 Job Summary We are seeking a reliable Cargo Van Owner to join our team as a Fill In/As Needed Delivery Driver. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering auto parts safely and efficiently to customers locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting, and utilizing our customers app correctly to load and deliver auto parts. The Fill In Delivery Driver will play a crucial role in filling in when drivers are out, and ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining safety and professionalism. This is a 1099 position. Duties Operate personal cargo van to deliver auto parts to designated customer locations. Load and unload auto parts, ensuring they are secured properly during transit. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries. Assist with moving items as needed, including heavy lifting when required. Maintain accurate delivery documentation by using customers app correctly to load scan, deliver scan, take pictures, collect signatures, and add returns. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients. Capable of heavy lifting and moving items safely. Strong organizational skills for loading van for timely deliveries. Familiarity with delivery apps a plus.
