School age teacher and van driver if possible TLC Learning Tree 6368 Windmere Road, Brooksville, FL 34602 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and responsible school age teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supervising, engaging, and teaching children and students. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent interpersonal skills. Duties Supervise children, interacting with them and creating /involving children in fun activities Monitor the behavior of children and assist in teaching how to problem solve, deal with emotions and be safe. Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and staff regarding schedules and any concerns that may arise. Complete necessary paperwork. Skills Experience in Christian counseling is a plus for fostering a supportive environment. Background in working with children or students is essential; experience in daycare or babysitting is highly valued. Familiarity with tutoring or special education practices can enhance interactions with students requiring additional support. Experience in theater or sports coaching can contribute positively to engaging with children during transit. First aid certification is preferred to ensure readiness for any emergencies that may arise.
