This part-time role involves split shifts, ensuring safe and timely transport of children, and working closely with our transport nurse. Schedule This position offers split shifts from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday . No nights, weekends, or major holidays . Essential Job Functions Safely pick up and drop off children at their homes or designated locations, including field trips. Assist nursing staff with the loading and unloading of children and any necessary equipment. Maintain routine vehicle maintenance, keeping it operational and fueled daily. Clean and maintain the interior and exterior of the vehicle, including child safety seats. Qualifications and Requirements Must hold a current Florida Driver’s License . Experience working with children is a plus. Ability to pass a background check and maintain a clean driving record. High school diploma or GED preferred but not required. Other Skills/Abilities Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team in a safe and nurturing environment. Effective communication and organizational skills. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to sit for prolonged periods and respond quickly in emergency situations. Work Environment Must be able to function in a dynamic environment and manage potential exposure to allergens or infectious diseases.
