Camp Van Driver in Orlando, FL KEF USA English Programs & Camps Kissimmee, FL 34746 We are looking for a Camp Driver to transport young campers from all over the world, ensure their well being and have fun at the most famous attractions and theme parks in the world for 4 weeks! This job will take place in Orlando, Florida from July 5 through August 3, 2025.
Primary Responsibilities:
Safe Transportation Drive 10+ year old passengers van to transport campers and staff to daily camp activities, classes, airport, theme parks, and special events. Ensure all campers wear seat belts and follow safety protocols during transit. Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and report any mechanical issues. Camper Supervision & Well-Being Greet and assist campers as they enter and exit the vehicle. Maintain a calm, friendly, and professional demeanor to help campers feel comfortable and safe. Monitor camper behavior during transport to ensure a respectful and fun atmosphere. Schedule Coordination Follow a pre-set daily itinerary and drive routes according to the camp schedule. Arrive on time for all pickups and drop-offs to maintain program timing. Communicate with camp coordinators about delays, route changes, or emergencies. Theme Park & Attraction Assistance Drive campers to world-famous attractions such as Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and local destinations. Communication & Teamwork Maintain constant communication with camp staff and directors via phone or radio. Support counselors and teachers in creating a fun, inclusive, and culturally sensitive experience. Report any concerns regarding camper health, behavior, or safety immediately. Vehicle Maintenance & Cleanliness Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and presentable at all times. Refuel the vehicle as needed and maintain mileage logs. Emergency Preparedness Know the route to the nearest medical facility in case of emergencies. Remain calm and take appropriate action in case of accidents or incidents. Cultural Sensitivity Demonstrate patience and understanding toward youth from diverse cultural backgrounds. Help create a positive and memorable experience for campers visiting the U.S. for the first time. When not performing health related activities, this person will act as a regular camp counselor. You must be able to stay outside for sustained periods of time without air conditioning. Position requires standing, stooping, sitting, walking long distances in hilly terrain, and occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds with or without assistance. Position requires working weekends and nights.
Camp days are often long and at times require late night camper support.
