West Palm Beach, FL Job Details Full-time $18 – $20 an hour 22 hours ago Qualifications Assisted living Mid-level High school diploma or GED Driver’s License Vehicle maintenance 1 year Full Job Description Colonial Assisted Living located in West Palm Beach is looking for an energetic, professional and motivated driver to join our growing team! The Activity Shuttle Van holds about 12 people, some in wheelchairs. Must be able to load and secure wheelchairs onto activity bus for senior citizens. Must be able to pass a background check. Your Responsibilities (but not limited to): Provide safe, dependable, considerate and professional transportation service for our residents to appointments, errands and community activities Assist residents in and out of the vehicle, utilizing the wheelchair lift/stairs as needed; opens, closes and loads/unloads walkers and wheelchairs Ensure resident safety and happiness are priorities, and account for attendance of all residents to and from the community Keep the community vehicle clean and properly maintained, including fueled at all times Prepare the bus for operation and coordinate necessary vehicle maintenance

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Must enjoy working with the elderly High school diploma or GED Valid state Driver’s License and Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) 3 – 4 year of related transportation experience preferred, including experience in an Assisted Living environment Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
