Doggy Taxi Driver Poochie’s Pampered Pups 7311 Proctor Road, Sarasota, FL 34241

• 8 am-10:00 am(ish) Monday-Friday.

Job is “as-needed” so hours range by how busy the Pet Taxi is and usually it’s 8-10!

Job Description:

We are looking for an upbeat, people and dog oriented person, with a good driving record to chauffeur pups to and from our dog grooming and care facility in our pet taxi! The ideal candidate will have no points on their record, and can easily drive a small parcel van. The job can be hectic, controlled chaos. Dogs are not caged and can roam freely within the van. Additionally, candidates must live in Sarasota or in the surrounding area, as traffic can be heavy.

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 or older
• Must have a valid Florida driver’s license
• Must be able to demonstrate good driving in a 1-2 week observational/training period
• Professional animal experience preferred, but not required
• Must be be kind and courteous to homeowners when entering homes to retrieve or deliver dogs
• Punctuality is a must
• Must be good at following directions. (How to leash dogs, enter houses, go through gates etc).
• Knowing Sarasota well, is a huge plus. Season is coming soon.
• A willingness to get dirty, and clean up pooh and pee as necessary
• Must be fluent in English
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lb, and in good physical condition
• Must love dogs!
