Chauffeur Job Description:

The chauffeur is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of our customers’ vehicles. The chauffeur will receive the vehicles from the production lines, assemble them into trim packages, and deliver them to the customer. The chauffeur does not drive the vehicle; rather, the chauffeur arranges the package for its final destination, assists the delivery person with instructions, and assists in loading and unloading the vehicle.

Core Functions:

Deliver vehicles to customers in a safe and timely manner Efficiently operate avan in a warehouse environment and ensure it is fully loaded and ready to go at the customer’s location when needed Be courteous to other factory employees and customers at all times Assist factory employees as needed Ensure van cleanliness of vehicle interior and exterior; maintain serviceable brakes, engine, and tires; ensure van is secure at night while loading or unloading vehicles Safely drive a company vehicle in accordance with all company policies and procedures Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Must be able to drive a company vehicle according to company procedures. No CDL required. Must be able to safely lift bottles and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be able to safely climb ladders and work on rooftops. Must be able to safely work in tight spaces such as in a crawl space or on a roof. Must be able to safely climb ladders up to 5 feet in height for repacking packages from top to bottom. Must be able to work in tight spaces such as in a crawl space or on a roof. Must be able to safely work in high altitude environments such as on top of a mountain where safety is of utmost importance.
