The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers in a wheelchiar lift van safely and efficiently to their destinations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to safety and punctuality. Duties Operate the van and van lift in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Transport passengers to various locations, including schools, events, or designated pick-up points. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their comfort and safety. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, performing routine inspections and reporting any maintenance issues. Communicate effectively with passengers regarding schedules, routes, and any changes in plans. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns from passengers professionally. Keep accurate records of trips, including passenger counts and mileage logs. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving or related fields such as bus driving, paratransit, school bus driving, shuttle driving, delivery driving, or limousine services. Strong communication skills to interact positively with passengers and team members. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on passenger satisfaction. Ability to navigate routes efficiently while ensuring timely arrivals at destinations. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in transportation. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
