Van/Bus Driver Position Available In McDuffie, Georgia

Van/Bus Driver Thomson-McDuffie County, Georgia 210 Railroad Street, Thomson, GA 30824 Overview Operate a van or bus to transport citizens to and from various locations within the County and surrounding counties. Perform preventive maintenance checks on vehicles. Transport meals to the elderly within the County. Maintain records regarding fuel and oil consumption, miles traveled, riders and meals transported. Duties Safely operate a van to transport passengers to designated locations. Educate passengers on safety procedures and transportation protocols. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with passengers and addressing their needs. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking from the vehicle, ensuring their comfort and safety. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle. Complete necessary paperwork, including trip logs and incident reports, accurately and promptly. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient transportation services. Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Experience in bus driving or similar transportation roles preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with passengers.
